My dear Peter,
I am pleased to
inform you that the Pakistan Academy of Letters has awarded you
“The Quaid-i-Azam International Award for Literature”. The
Award carries Pak. Rupees Two Million (US$25,000/-). This was
announced by me in a Press Conference yesterday. The other award “The
Quaid-i-Awam International Award for Democracy” has been nominated for
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.
Today’s National
